Bindu is a Bengali word, means point
which is formed after conjunction of three water streams at Bindu namely Bindu Khola, Dudh Pokhri and Jaldhaka, which originates from the Kupup lake, a small glacial lake in Sikkim. The combined streams meet at Bindu to form the Jaldhaka River.
Bindu is the last village of West Bengal to the North, situated just before Bhutan border, About 107 kilometer from Siliguri. Bindu is surrounding with hills of India and Bhutan and mostly cover with dense forests. It is a landscape located on the banks of River Jaldhaka
